David Slack AFNI. DMS  has been moving cargo at sea and on land since 1976. with expertise in project cargo, heavy lift cargo and dangerous goods he offers and all round surveying and Port Captain service.

An accredited surveyor for Siemens he has just successfully completed surveying the placement of 32 heavy lift units (circa 400te) at Siemens power station at  Beni Suef Egypt as part of the Siemens "mega project."

He completed his Master Mariners Course (FGN) in 1987, along with a HND in Nautical science, he went on to do  Diploma in Managerial studies, a degree level NVQ in International Trade and Services and a Dangerous Good safety Adviser qualification in 2004. He now offers freelance Port Captain or Surveying  services based in the North East of UK.
